Hospital Visit

My grandmother isn't that well, so she's admitted in the hospital.
My mom (as usual) has been staying there too to accompany and take care of her, but to let her rest, it's my turn to stay at the hospital.
I'm feeling a bit flustered, cause I feel that I'm not good at taking care of her.
Not implying reluctance, but I'm just scared that if I don't do things right, or make a bad decision, I'll just worsen her condition.
Anyway, she's sleeping now, so I'll just do some homework, or just watch a movie.
Probably do homework since I'm too lazy to watch movies (Oh the irony hee~).
Interestingly, my mom has been calling up to check every half hour or so, which makes me wonder why am I here, if she's going to keep on asking...

Small picture update!

My new bed.

No, just joking.
My aunt gave my family a cupboard (it's the one below the blankets), and my mom, being the woman she is, smacked wheels on it and put some of our bookshelves on the cupboard.
She put a blanket on the remaining space so we can sleep there, but it's really hard and much more narrow than it seems in the picture.
We still sleep there once in a while HEE.

Elrin's penguin, which is HUGE.
I didn't expect her penguin to be that big and round, so I got a shock when I saw it.

To start, I shall post this.

My classmates and I couldn't finish our food (All that's left is what's shown in the picture.), so we uh played around.


Anyway, I went to Chilli's with my dad for dinner not so recently.

I don't really understand what's the need to close off a section if there's a fifteen minute wait to go in...
My dad and I were immediately seated because we went to the smoking section.
The smoking section isn't, well, smoky...

Oh, dad and I did have had dessert at Chilli's.

Oh, remember the time I mentioned I watched X-Men again with Sam, Sam's mom and Jac?
Kind of like a Part 2 of that time, but after the movie, we had dinner at Itallianies.
Due to miscommunication *eyezooms Sam* , the pasta which Sam, Jac and I ordered each ended up to be portions for two.
So we had pasta for six people.

In the end I took the leftovers home...
Had pasta the next day for breakfast and lunch...

I have to mention though, that the service at Italiannies is not bad.
When Sam's juice had ice in it, but she didn't want any, not only did they remove the ice, they also filled up the glass.
Since juice is expensive (it was blended), it was surprising.
Especially as they didn't charge extra I think.
Also, as Jac's clams weren't fresh, they gave a discount.
So yeah, not bad service there.

Hee.
Yup, I watched X-Men three times.
First is with Shawn, then my dad, then with Jun.
Keeping the tickets in my memory box~


Also, there was a time when Elrin, Mirai and Haru (I feel kinda weird calling you this, but nevermind...) went to BBQ Plaza to eat.
Mirai and I shared a stove, whereas Haru and Elrin shared another.

It was really really burnt, and the soup was very concentrated.
Frankly speaking, Mirai was the one who took care of the stove, so the main reason why the soup was tasty and could be finished, was cause of her.

Then not so recently, I borrowed Feli's wig, and cause it was in a mess, I decided to wash and groom it for her...
As it's a curly wig, I had to curl it back hur.

Totally want to watch X-Men again HEE~~~~~

Watched it twice already; Insidious as well.
Watched X-Men the second time with my dad (He doesn't know I'd already watched it with Shawn, but not complaining HEE), and Insidious together with Mirai, Elrin, Feli and Haru.
Had fun watching the girls in the rows in front scream during Insidious hurhurhur...
Also, watching Insidious made me a man.
By the end of the show, I was having an arm each around Feli and Elrin, since I was sitting in between Feli and Elrin, and already know when's the scary parts.
Had fun playing pool with Elrin and Feli hurhurblueballhurhurhur and got to show them my flying ball...

I really miss all the times when I could just sit and be with my friends...
Not exaggerating, but those moments of just being with friends or family, chatting about just about anything, those are really precious moments to me.

Ten random things about me, and the reasons behind them.

1) I cut my nails in the shower, because when I was slightly younger, my mom and I would have arguments about me cutting my nails in my room.

2) I like to sniff at the tea bag jar whenever I make myself a cup of tea, simply because I like the smell.

3) I say 'ow' whenever I injure myself lightly even though it doesn't hurt, because when I was younger, all the kids cried whenever they injured themselves, and I thought that I should try to 'follow the norm'. Same went for the fear of injections and cockroaches. I didn't fear them as a kid, but was influenced by my peers.

4) I always snap a toothpick after using it, ever since my dad told me a story of his friend who mistook a used toothpick that the person beside him placed by his side, as the person offering him a toothpick, and then used it.

5) I usually look at the ground when I walk, because I feel that whatever unpleasant things I might trip/step/kick, are usually on the ground...

6) Whenever I order a cold drink, I prefer requesting for little or no ice, cause I don't want the drink to be diluted.

7) I must end a meal with vegetables/fruits. Too embarrassed to tell you the reason. No reason.

8) I get really annoyed when someone touches my things without permission and fails to put them back properly, because I believe that if you want to do something secretly, you should do it properly. If a person doesn't ask first, I'll take it as the person doesn't want me to know.

9) I prefer using 'see you' instead of 'bye', because when I say 'see you', I hope to be able to 'see you again'. Unless, of course, if we probably wouldn't be able to meet again, or I don't want to see you again hehe, then I'd use 'bye'.

10) I always chew on sweets/chocolate/ice cream/other similar foodstuff (even though I tell myself to suck on them so that they'd last longer), because when I was young, I had the fear of choking on a sweet, so I'd always chew it. The habit stuck till now.

Last minute shopping.

Before I start, I shall say that this isn't a post about the clothes I bought but how my day went while shopping last minute...

The day started out by fetching my cousin from the airport.
As soon as I entered the airport, I got Rick Rolled.

Putting that aside, as most of you would know, I don't like to do clothes shopping, and as a few of you would know, I had yet to buy any new clothes for the new year even though it was less than a week away.
Anyway, after that, I went to 1U to try again with my mom, and FINALLY, I managed to get something.
I swear, one hour of shopping is longer than one hour of the most boring class for me.
(Also, as you can see, that's all I'm going to write about the shopping part. Now I'm going to write about the main reason of this post.)

So anyway, before my mom and I went for lunch, we went to the toilets first.
There was a REALLY long line, like, all the way until outside the female toilets (no surprise there though).
As I was lining up, I kept feeling something bumping into me, and I thought that it was the bag of the woman who was behind me.
After a while, it started to get a bit annoying, so I turned around, only to realize that it was a pregnant lady who kept bumping her stomach into me.
Bumping a bag into someone is one thing, cause you might not feel it, but bumping your STOMACH?
I kept on ignoring it, since I thought that maybe it was an accident or something, but when it was my mom's turn, and there was some space in front of me, I thought that since it was only one step to move, I might as well just stay at my spot.
Then, the woman WALKED RIGHT INTO ME.
Like, USING HER STOMACH TO PUSH ME FORWARD.
LIKE DUDE, WOMAN, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, PUSHING YOUR STOMACH INTO MY ASS?
IT'S LIKE, DON'T TOUCH ME, WOMAN.
After thinking, I realized that it wasn't that she was impatient. (We all need to wait, and just because you're one step closer to the cubicles doesn't mean that you'll be there faster.)
It wasn't that she didn't realize that she bumped into me. (I looked at her several times when she kept bumping her unborn foetus into my ass, and she knew that I was uncomfortable and annoyed with her touching me so many times. ON THE ASS.)
It was that she was merely plain rude, and happened to be pregnant.
Like, eight or nine months pregnant.
But seriously woman, if you're going to knock everything in your way with your stomach, your child's not going to turn out okay.
I went into the cubicle, hoping that I wouldn't see her any more, but on my way out, THE WOMAN WAS THERE AGAIN.
And cause she was in my way, I overtook her as rudely as I could (without touching her) and opened the door in such a way that by the time she reached the door, it'll close.
But seriously speaking, just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean that I'm going to respect you more or be nicer to you than an ordinary stranger.
You're just a stranger who happens to be pregnant.

Anyway, after that I ate salmon~~~
Really happy because I had been craving for salmon for quite a long while before that.
Then after that I went to the arcade and sort of bumped into Mirai and myst.
'Sort of', cause I knew that Mirai would be there, but I didn't know what time.

But that said, yeah, the main reason of this post is the pregnant lady.
Shall go for dinner now.

Haven't blogged anything because, well, nothing's been happening recently.
Shall write about some stuff...

- A lot of people I know went/are going to China this year.

- Just filed my nails.

I quite like my nails.
Every time I meet someone they comment about how long it is and ask whether it's troublesome though.
I can still do type, cook, clean, et cetera with long nails, just that I'm slower, and they hurt if I'm not careful.
I do miss playing the piano though.

Dad just went to China for a business trip, and would be back on Friday.
Mom'll be going to Penang on Saturday for slightly more than a week.
This weekend I'll be helping out at a public speaking course, of which I was a participant several years ago.
I fell in love with how the participants could change so quickly in a span of only three days, so I try to help out if I can in order to see the 'newer' participants.


I'm looking forward to meeting my friends again.

To spend time with my friends (cause nearly all my friends are cosplayers, or photographers).

Makeup and soft toys.

Cause bun wanted to see everyone's makeup kit, and I may as well show furu my extremely reduced pile of soft toys.
I only use make up for cosplay reasons, and I don't think nail polish and coloured contact lens would be considered as 'makeup', but I'm going to add it in anyway.

...Honestly, my first reaction was '...THERE'S MORE THAN I REMEMBER.'.

Two kinds of foundation, two kinds of powder and green base.
The foundation are of different shades and the powder on the right was given to me by my mom.

Eyeshadow.

Blusher and turquoise eyeshadow which I use to colour my eyebrows whenever I cosplay Miku.

Sharpener and brushes which are either spare, or rarely used.

Black waterproof eyeliners (some are new, some are finishing), black non waterproof eyeliner (which I use for practice), white waterproof eyeliner and green eyeshadow pencil which I used for AHS Miku.

Black waterproof mascara, dark brown waterproof mascara, black waterproof mascara which adds length and brown mascara.

Lip gloss and lipstick.
I rarely use lipstick, and prefer lip gloss much more.
My mom took one of my lipstick...

Fake eyelash and the white bottle with the silver cap is the fake eyelash glue.
From left to right, top to bottom, the pair which my parents bought for me when they went to Japan, the pair which I'm experimenting on halfway (hence the odd colour for one of them), the next two pairs I got it during a promotion and the dramatic pair which I don't really dare to use.
Next, the pair which I got during the same promotion as the previous two (bought this one cause it's different from what I normally prefer), my first pair which bun gave me, my favourite pair at the moment and the last two are the less obvious and more natural type.
Most of them are the crisscross kind, cause I feel that it looks more natural.

Oil based makeup remover, nail polish remover and water based makeup remover.

Cotton pieces.

Decided to add it in since it is used during makeup.

My nail polish collection, nail sticker decorations (one more set was downstairs when I took this picture), fake nail glue, fake nail sticker and fake nails.
Coloured and shaped only some of the fake nails.

Somehow I managed to survive the week without my parents.
Not that I'm saying it's an amazing feat, just that I'm not independant at all.

Slurping noodles noisily.

It's a pet peeve of mine.
I don't hate it (like Ling thinks I do :3), but it's more of a minor annoyance which I sometimes find quite amusing.
Reasons being:
- ...It's noisy.

- I can absolutely not do it.
I mean really, I can't.
I noticed that my parents and my brother can slurp noodles (actually any other food as well) while making sounds as though they are inhaling it in, but it seems that I didn't inherit the skill from my parents.

I can slurp, but there would be no noise.
My dad asked me to open my mouth bigger and try again.
...AND IF I DO THAT, I CAN'T SLURP IT AT ALL HAHA.

And I get hiccups real easily.
Just from the four or five attempts to slurp noddles, I'm already having hiccups now.

The pigeon obviously flew away, but the main point of this post is that I am very obviously my mother's child.
