Small picture update!

My new bed.

No, just joking.
My aunt gave my family a cupboard (it's the one below the blankets), and my mom, being the woman she is, smacked wheels on it and put some of our bookshelves on the cupboard.
She put a blanket on the remaining space so we can sleep there, but it's really hard and much more narrow than it seems in the picture.
We still sleep there once in a while HEE.

I didn't expect her penguin to be that big and round, so I got a shock when I saw it.

But yeah, still struggling to get things done.
Exams and Comic Fiesta are in two months, and I feel that I'm not doing things fast enough, good enough.
Still have a lot of things to learn, a lot of things to make and a lot of things to buy.
Ooh, and my new contact lens has arrived~

Record Tripping

Record Tripping is one of the more original games I've encountered, being the only game I've ever played which used the scroll wheel as its main method of controlling.
The left click is also used, but it is not needed in the game as much as the scroll.
In fact, it is sometimes forgotten that the click can be used.
It is a rhythm game (I suppose D:), with a narration of Alice in Wonderland in the background.
There are five parts to the game, three difficulties each.

Frankly I felt that this was a really short game.
Despite there having fifteen levels, I finished the game in minutes.
It isn't a difficult game at all, but I admit, I enjoyed this game because I had lots of fun playing around with the scroll.

I feel that the audio influenced the game experience a lot.
The soundtracks used were suitably used, and combined with the art, it created an eccentric yet enjoyable experience.
I shall also mention that the kitties in the last level were absolutely adorable~

To conclude, it's a very original game, which is a relaxing, fun trip.
I'd definitely enjoy more levels, though I somehow feel that such a length is just right.


Also, special mention to Sam, you've given me a couple of songs which are used in the game.
Juuuuuuuuust mentioning.

You know who you are.

Yup, watched X-Men four times HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
Fourth time was with Sam, Sams mom and Jac.
Jac had already watched it, and it was her second time.

I have a feeling that if I watched it the fifth time, I may not enjoy it as much.


I watched the latest Transformers movie with my dad too.

Thought it was alright...
The three things I kept thinking about throughout the entire movie, however, was:
1) ...So many people in the background are dying...
2) ...PROPERTY DAMAGE!!!!!!!! WHO'S GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THOSE DAMAGES???? LOSS OF HOME/SOURCE OF INCOME!!!! WHO'S GOING TO DEAL WITH ALL THAT??? (Okay, this, I blame law...)
3) ...Is that woman wearing heels? How can she wear heels? She makes it seem so comfortable; maybe they're good heels or something. But then again, how can she run around in those... Why is she not spraining her ankle... How can she run so fast... Why don't she just remove them...


Anyway, later on today (5 am right now. Good job.), Sam, Sam's mom, Feli, Jun, Elrin and Shawn (...Did I get the people right?) are going to watch the last Harry Potter movie thing.
Meanwhile, I shall go wander around in 1U.

To be clear and fair, I was the one who refused to watch.

I don't want to watch it because I haven't watched the previous movies.
I have read the book, but personally, I feel that the book and film are separate pieces of work.
Although the content are the same (...Obviously since the film's based on the book...), but there's a different 'feeling' or form of interpretation.
Mirai was supposed to watch as well, but because she can't make it, Jun's taking her place.
Jun was supposed to not watch with me...
But anyway, it would be an interesting time alone, no sarcasm intended.
I do have some things to shop for, and I'll be bringing work to do somewhere, I don't know where, while waiting for them.
I do hope that I don't end up falling asleep wherever I'll be at...

Yup, I watched X-Men three times.
First is with Shawn, then my dad, then with Jun.

Also, there was a time when Elrin, Mirai and Haru (I feel kinda weird calling you this, but nevermind...) went to BBQ Plaza to eat.
Mirai and I shared a stove, whereas Haru and Elrin shared another.

It was really really burnt, and the soup was very concentrated.
Frankly speaking, Mirai was the one who took care of the stove, so the main reason why the soup was tasty and could be finished, was cause of her.

We also fried the lime.


Then not so recently, I borrowed Feli's wig, and cause it was in a mess, I decided to wash and groom it for her...
As it's a curly wig, I had to curl it back hur.

Totally want to watch X-Men again HEE~~~~~
Wolverine~~~~~
Watched it twice already; Insidious as well.
Watched X-Men the second time with my dad (He doesn't know I'd already watched it with Shawn, but not complaining HEE), and Insidious together with Mirai, Elrin, Feli and Haru.
Had fun watching the girls in the rows in front scream during Insidious hurhurhur...
Also, watching Insidious made me a man.
By the end of the show, I was having an arm each around Feli and Elrin, since I was sitting in between Feli and Elrin, and already know when's the scary parts.
Had fun playing pool with Elrin and Feli hurhurblueballhurhurhur and got to show them my flying ball...

I really miss all the times when I could just sit and be with my friends...
Not exaggerating, but those moments of just being with friends or family, chatting about just about anything, those are really precious moments to me.

X-Men!! Hee~

Watched X-Men: First Class today together with Shawn~
Really happy~
I don't watch movies, but X-Men is special to me, largely due to Wolverine (guess who's a Wolverine fan *swoons*).
I shall now take the opportunity to thank Shawn for inviting me hee~
If it weren't for him, I wouldn't know that the film's out (yes, I am that outdated), not to mention that he bought the tickets online and even brought me to watch Insidious last week, amongst the many things he did.

One reason as to why I don't usually watch films is that I tend to over-think the film while watching it, hence spoiling the mood for myself, but because it's X-Men, so it's forgiven hee~~~~~
I was really happy when Wolverine appeared, even though it was only for about ten seconds heeeeeeeee~~~~~~
Though, in regards to that, I'm quite surprised that 'fuck' wasn't censored, and there was quite a lot of skin for a PG13 show.
There was a kid sitting next to me whom I think is about nine.
But yup~
Still feeling giggly hee~~~

I suppose I shall also mention that I'm going to try to blog daily from now on, largely due to Jun's influence.

Finally, I suppose I shall say that today started out with a rather low mood, since one of the best lecturers I ever had, announced that it was her last day.

She didn't tell us beforehand that she was resigning because she didn't want to affect our mood.
I feel disappointed, because she really is a good lecturer, and I was hoping to receive more from her.

Not to mention, another good lecturer of mine would be leaving soon, as he received a job offer elsewhere...
This year, a lot of things have happened...




Don't want to end this post with such a sad note (for me, anyway), so I shall write about another topic, which shall be back about my blog.
I shall one day go through the older posts and edit it so that the layout, font, et cetera would be uniformed.
Speaking about older posts, I realized how much memories I have blogged about in the past, and if it weren't for this blog, I would have most likely forgotten about those memories.

Drama llama?

I sometimes wonder whether I'm the kind who ends up making friends with people whose life has a lot of drama, or that people who are friends with me, end up having a lot of drama.

Not saying that my life is very exciting; in fact, I hardly have any drama in my life.
Just that a lot of people I know tend to be involved in quite a bit of drama...
Maybe the drama is normal, and it's just me who's having an abnormal level of (lack of) drama?

Also, I find that one way or another, I'm always involved in relationship issues...
By the way, don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that drama or relationship issues are bad.
I just find it weird that so many people around me have it/them.
Back to the relationship issues though.
People come to me for advise sometimes, and as I have no personal experience at being in a relationship, I sometimes wonder why people ask me, and whether the advise I'm giving is good advise.
I suppose that it's easy for me to give those advise though, since I've no experience in the emotional aspect of such a relationship.
I still view it as a technical thing.

Last minute shopping.

Before I start, I shall say that this isn't a post about the clothes I bought but how my day went while shopping last minute...

The day started out by fetching my cousin from the airport.
As soon as I entered the airport, I got Rick Rolled.

Putting that aside, as most of you would know, I don't like to do clothes shopping, and as a few of you would know, I had yet to buy any new clothes for the new year even though it was less than a week away.
Anyway, after that, I went to 1U to try again with my mom, and FINALLY, I managed to get something.
I swear, one hour of shopping is longer than one hour of the most boring class for me.
(Also, as you can see, that's all I'm going to write about the shopping part. Now I'm going to write about the main reason of this post.)

So anyway, before my mom and I went for lunch, we went to the toilets first.
There was a REALLY long line, like, all the way until outside the female toilets (no surprise there though).
As I was lining up, I kept feeling something bumping into me, and I thought that it was the bag of the woman who was behind me.
After a while, it started to get a bit annoying, so I turned around, only to realize that it was a pregnant lady who kept bumping her stomach into me.
Bumping a bag into someone is one thing, cause you might not feel it, but bumping your STOMACH?
I kept on ignoring it, since I thought that maybe it was an accident or something, but when it was my mom's turn, and there was some space in front of me, I thought that since it was only one step to move, I might as well just stay at my spot.
Then, the woman WALKED RIGHT INTO ME.
Like, USING HER STOMACH TO PUSH ME FORWARD.
LIKE DUDE, WOMAN, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, PUSHING YOUR STOMACH INTO MY ASS?
IT'S LIKE, DON'T TOUCH ME, WOMAN.
After thinking, I realized that it wasn't that she was impatient. (We all need to wait, and just because you're one step closer to the cubicles doesn't mean that you'll be there faster.)
It wasn't that she didn't realize that she bumped into me. (I looked at her several times when she kept bumping her unborn foetus into my ass, and she knew that I was uncomfortable and annoyed with her touching me so many times. ON THE ASS.)
It was that she was merely plain rude, and happened to be pregnant.
Like, eight or nine months pregnant.
But seriously woman, if you're going to knock everything in your way with your stomach, your child's not going to turn out okay.
I went into the cubicle, hoping that I wouldn't see her any more, but on my way out, THE WOMAN WAS THERE AGAIN.
And cause she was in my way, I overtook her as rudely as I could (without touching her) and opened the door in such a way that by the time she reached the door, it'll close.
But seriously speaking, just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean that I'm going to respect you more or be nicer to you than an ordinary stranger.
You're just a stranger who happens to be pregnant.

Anyway, after that I ate salmon~~~
Really happy because I had been craving for salmon for quite a long while before that.
Then after that I went to the arcade and sort of bumped into Mirai and myst.
'Sort of', cause I knew that Mirai would be there, but I didn't know what time.

But that said, yeah, the main reason of this post is the pregnant lady.
Shall go for dinner now.

More updates.

I found it really interesting to see people's reactions when I told them:
1) My long nails weren't fake nails.
2) I used UHU glue to stick back my broken nails (It really works!).
3) I could still do housework with them (Long nails don't grow overnight, so I've gotten used to them as they grow...).
I've cut my nails already, but it feels nearly the same as when they were long.


Feli gave me a turtle recently!
Named it Brioche, nicknamed it Ah Bi.
I think it's a 'he', but I can't tell yet since it's still too small.


Going out is getting more and more troublesome, despite having fun during those times.

I broke my naillllllllllllllllllll... *cries*

Yeah well, though I was extremely careful this time, I broke it while I was half asleep...
It was quite disappointing, but I remembered that Shawn told me that his friend glued it back together, so I decided to google 'what to do when nail breaks'.
True enough, one of the method was to use super glue...
Though it was quite frustrating and scary (since it's my first time attempting to glue a nail back), I must say that the results made me happy.

It bled and hurt a little at first when I broke it, and stung a little when I put the super glue.
Since it's the finger of my right hand, I'm going to train myself to be left-handed...

Haven't blogged anything because, well, nothing's been happening recently.
Shall write about some stuff...

- A lot of people I know went/are going to China this year.

- Just filed my nails.

I quite like my nails.
Every time I meet someone they comment about how long it is and ask whether it's troublesome though.
I can still do type, cook, clean, et cetera with long nails, just that I'm slower, and they hurt if I'm not careful.
I do miss playing the piano though.

- Next week's the week when everyone's coming back~~

- My room's really in a mess, in the sense that everything's already clean and in order, but there's a pile of stuff on my bed which I don't know what to do with...

Don't really know what to cosplay, and I'm not really excited to think of what to cosplay or to do any props.

I'm not too fond of Decembers, though I don't really know how to explain why.


Dad just went to China for a business trip, and would be back on Friday.
Mom'll be going to Penang on Saturday for slightly more than a week.
This weekend I'll be helping out at a public speaking course, of which I was a participant several years ago.
I fell in love with how the participants could change so quickly in a span of only three days, so I try to help out if I can in order to see the 'newer' participants.


I'm looking forward to meeting my friends again.

Blog playlist.

Whenever I set my playlist, I tend to avoid songs which are 'harsher', them being those songs which included screaming or swearing.
I don't know why I did it.
Maybe it's cause I didn't want people to know that my tastes are such?
Or maybe it's cause I wanted to let the readers and visitors to have music which are more 'normal'?
Or that I was scared that I'd be judged based on the songs I listen to?
Hmm.
Well, now I guess I don't really mind any more since no one listens to my playlist.
Made a new playlist and changed the design too, so that it's easier to browse.
Also shoved it at the bottom of the blog cause it's bigger now.


When I read my older blog posts, I feel like facepalming till my nose inverts or something.
