While going home from uni, my mom (for some reason) went to the topic of romance, and then told me a bit of her love life.
Mom: During the courtship period, all my friends and of course family knew your father.
Me: ......
Mom: Your dad even went out with some of my friends.
Me: ...HUUUUUUHHHHHH!? (delayed reaction)
It turned out, she meant to say that my dad would go out with my mom's friend AS FRIENDS, GOING OUT FOR FUN.
My mom's friends knew my dad, and my mom would bring my dad along with her when going out with her friends.
Me: Mom. Please choose a better way to describe it. Heart attack can cause death you know? Weak heart. I can die from shock.
Mom: Your dad went out with your aunt (my mom's sister) a few times.
Me: ...MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!
Mom: Hehehe...
